BERT VAN SON

Bert van Son is the CEO and Founder of Mud Jeans, a sustainable and fair trade certified denim brand based in The Netherlands. MUD Jeans satisfies the principles of the circular economy. The main business concept of the company is to lease its apparel to consumers. After the lease period of one year, consumers can switch them for another pair and continue leasing, return them for recycling or upcycling purposes, or keep them. The lease contract includes free unlimited repair services. This concept is called Lease A Jeans and was launched in 2013.

MATT SEXTON

Matt Sexton is Chief Strategy Officer of Futerra, the global change agency dedicated to Imagining Better and Making It Happen. Matt and the strategy team work with international businesses and brands to develop inspiring vision and strategy frameworks for sustainability that set out clear priorities and ambitious goals  along with detailed roadmaps on how to mobilize.  In the last few years he has developed strategies for a variety of businesses including Tommy Hilfiger, Formula 1, Yoox Net-A-Porter, Kao Corporation, VF Corporation and Whitbread.

RICH TOBIN

Richard has worked in the textile industry for over 28 years, having held various positions over this time period from Director to V.P to Entrepreneur and business owner. Focused mainly in Marketing & Sales in multiple textile market segments, Richard has most recently directed R&D and product development for Denim Mills both foreign and domestic during the past 9 years. From product development to marketing strategies, Richard's experience is complete and we are can't wait for him to share his expertise with us.
